Today I bring you the score to Mario Bava's THE WHIP AND THE BODY (1963) aka WHAT aka LA FRUSTA E IL CORPO as well as the score to Mario Bava's BLOOD AND BLACK LACE (1964) aka SIX WOMEN FOR THE MURDERER aka SEI DONNE PER L'ASSASSINO. Both of these scores are by CARLO RUSTICHELLI and were released in 2005 on CD by Digitmovies as "The Mario Bava Collection Vol. 1" (catalog code: Digitmovies CDDM041). As per my usual methods the CD was ripped with EAC to the FLAC format. I then used foobar2000 to create the 320 CBR MP3 version. Both downloads include the EAC made LOG file and CUE Sheet file as well as a M3U play list file. Both include high quality artwork scans.
Please note that these two files are compressed RAR files and will need to be decompressed with something like WinRAR or WinZIP etc.

Actually you do NOT have to become a premium member of RapidShare in order to download this material. Sometimes when RapidShare is very busy you do get a message saying something like this: "There are no download slots now for non-members. Please wait and try again later or join and become a premium member."

I don't remember that but it must have worked, since I did download it after all. Thank you very much - W&B has a splendid soundtrack indeed. I'm back here because I now want the second disc, which it appears I threw out by mistake.

ReplyDeleteSorry I haven't posted this in FLAC yet. I only started doing that AFTER this post and yes I said I would go back and re-do everything in FLAC but I haven't done that yet (well I did for a few but not all).

I finally updated this post to include the original 320 CBR MP3 link as well as a new lossless FLAC link.
ReplyDeleteAlso the MP3 link is now hosted on MegaUpload instead of RapidShare. I did this so that it is now a single link whereas before I had to split it into two parts. Having it as one file makes things easier.
